The General Election is November 8, 2016 and voters in our area will be making critical decisions - nominating candidates for every level of government, from the White House to the Courthouse. I am honored to be a nominee for Judge and I am working hard to talk to voters in the community about my background and approach to justice.
I have served the public as an Assistant State’s Attorney for over 29 years. I began in the narcotics division, served in the appellate division and became a recognized expert in criminal law and procedure. I have reviewed, analyzed, and critiqued thousands of issues in the Illinois Appellate Court and the Illinois Supreme Court. This work has placed me in a unique position to understand the legal system as a whole and important issues within the law.
I have given back to the community by mentoring new attorneys beginning their careers serving the public in the State’s Attorney’s Office. I am also a founding member of the Advisory Committee of Catholic Charities Legal Assistance (CCLA) which provides legal services and advice to low-income individuals. I am honored to be highly regarded by my peers for integrity and commitment to high ethical standards.
Information on the November 8th election – including details on voter registration, voting by mail and early voting – can be found here: www.CookCountyClerk.com/elections.
I would be truly honored to have your vote and I thank you for everything you do for our community.
